5 Texas Injury Law Firms Known for Results and Personal Attention (2026)

Texas injury law firms known for results and personal attention

Which Texas personal injury law firms are known for strong results and personal attention? The five firms below publish both on their own websites: a record you can check and a clear promise about who will handle your case. Our first pick is Fielding Law.

Texas is too large for one firm to be “local” everywhere. So we chose firms based in five different parts of the state, from North Texas to Houston, Central Texas, San Antonio and Fort Worth.

This guide explains how we ranked them, what each one offers, and the Texas rules that shape an injury claim no matter which firm you hire.

At a glance

  • Our first pick is Fielding Law, a North Texas firm whose managing partners say they personally handle every case.
  • Texas law requires a contingent fee agreement to be in writing and signed by both lawyer and client.
  • Most Texas injury suits must be filed within two years, and you recover nothing if you are more than 50 percent at fault.

How We Chose and Ranked These Firms

We read each firm’s own website in October 2026: its homepage, practice pages and office details. We did not use paid directories, and we did not rank by the largest verdict, because one big number says little about how your case will be handled.

How we ranked them

  • Personal attention: a specific, published promise about who works on your case and how you reach them, not just the word “personalized.”
  • Results you can check: case results, trial work or credentials the firm publishes itself, read in context.
  • Texas access: an office in Texas, contingency fees, free consultations and service in Spanish.

The ranking applies those three criteria. All five firms handle serious injury cases in Texas; the order reflects how directly each one answers the question of personal attention, and each “Best for” line names the region the firm actually serves from.

5 Texas Injury Law Firms Known for Results and Personal Attention

“Personal attention” is easy to promise and hard to compare. The graphic lists five things you can actually check before you sign with any firm.

Five checks for personal attention before hiring a Texas injury firm: who handles it, updates, written fee terms, trial record, deadline

None of these checks requires a lawyer’s help, and none of them ranks the firms. The table then compares the five firms side by side.

1. Fielding Law

Fielding Law is a Texas personal injury firm with three offices in the Dallas area: its main office in Richardson, plus Mesquite and Heath. It says it serves injury victims throughout North Texas and across the entire state.

On personal attention, its promise is unusually specific. The firm says its two managing partners, Mitchell K. Fielding and Michael S. Fielding, personally handle every case, with the care and attention each one deserves.

On results, the firm says its Texas trial attorneys have won more than 5,500 cases, and it lists seven attorneys on its trial team. Its Texas car accident page walks through what to do after a crash and how a claim proceeds.

Access is straightforward: full service in English and Spanish, a contingency fee with nothing up front, a free consultation, and someone on the team answering the phone 24 hours a day.

Best for: anyone injured in Dallas or North Texas who wants a partner, not a call center, on the case.

2. Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner

Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner is a Houston trial firm on Commerce Street downtown. It says it was established in 1951.

Its homepage lists five attorneys who are board-certified in personal injury law and one board-certified in civil appellate law. It also publishes large results, including a $201 million plant explosion case.

The practice reaches well beyond car crashes: industrial and oilfield accidents, maritime and offshore injuries under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, product liability and aviation.

The firm’s message on attention is “Every case is personal.” It works on contingency with no upfront fees and lists service in Spanish, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati and Farsi.

Best for: a complex injury in the Houston area, especially a refinery, plant or offshore case.

3. Lorenz & Lorenz

Lorenz and Lorenz Austin accident and injury lawyers homepage

Lorenz & Lorenz has offices in Austin, on South Capital of Texas Highway, and in Waco. It says its attorneys have helped accident victims in the greater Austin area since 2001 and that its practice is exclusively personal injury.

Its results stand out for one detail. Next to sample settlements, such as a $6 million truck case, the firm also shows a “Net to Client” figure, so you can compare the headline amount with what the client received.

That second number is the one that matters to an injured person. Overall, the firm reports over $500 million in settlements for its clients.

On attention, it promises to be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and to handle every communication with the insurance companies. It works on contingency and offers Spanish-language pages for Texas, Austin and Waco.

Best for: crash victims in Austin, Waco and Central Texas who want to see what clients take home.

4. Carabin Shaw

Carabin Shaw is based on East Ashby Place in San Antonio, with branch offices in other Texas cities, including Laredo and Rockport, where meetings are by appointment.

Its attention promise is practical. The firm offers flexible appointments at your home, in the hospital or online, and says you can ask to meet one of its attorneys directly.

On credentials, it says several members of the firm are board-certified in personal injury by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. It handles auto, 18-wheeler, worksite and wrongful death cases.

The firm works on a no-fee-unless-you-win basis, and its attorneys and staff serve clients in English and Spanish.

Best for: injured people in San Antonio and South Texas who cannot easily travel to a law office.

5. Patterson Law Group

Patterson Law Group Fort Worth personal injury lawyers homepage

Patterson Law Group lists offices in Fort Worth, on Forest Park Boulevard, and in Arlington and San Antonio. It describes itself as 10 attorneys across three Texas offices.

Its answer to the attention question is size. The firm says it keeps its roster intentionally small, and it promises to handle every conversation with the insurance company for you.

On results, it says “We try cases” and reports over $100 million recovered. It cites more than 30 years of practice in Texas.

The firm works on contingency, offers free phone or Zoom consultations, and says the consultation, agreements and case preparation can all be handled in Spanish.

Best for: Fort Worth and Arlington clients who want a smaller team that prepares cases for trial.

Texas Rules That Shape Any Injury Claim

The rules below come from Texas statutes. They are general information, and how they apply depends on the facts of your case.

Your fee agreement must be written. Under Government Code 82.065, a contingent fee contract must be in writing and signed by the attorney and the client.

The same section lets a client void a contract obtained through barratry, meaning illegal solicitation. A lawyer or “runner” who contacts you uninvited after a crash is a warning sign, not a shortcut.

Shared fault. Under section 33.001 of the Civil Practice and Remedies Code, you recover nothing if your share of responsibility is greater than 50 percent.

At 50 percent or less, section 33.012 reduces your damages by your percentage. Our guide to recovering compensation when you were partly at fault explains this with examples.

The deadline. Section 16.003 generally gives you two years from the injury to file suit, and two years from the death in a wrongful death case. Claims against a government body can carry much shorter notice rules.

Board certification. In Texas, board certification in personal injury trial law is granted by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. If a firm mentions it, ask which lawyer holds it and whether that lawyer will work on your case.

How to Choose a Texas Injury Firm That Will Actually Know Your Name

Strong results and personal attention can pull in different directions. A large firm may have the resources for a trial; a small one may return your calls faster. Ask each firm:

  • Which lawyer, by name, will handle my case day to day, and who decides if it goes to trial?
  • How will you update me, and how quickly do you return calls or texts?
  • Can I see your fee percentage, and how case costs are handled, in the written agreement before I sign?
  • How many cases like mine have you taken to a jury in the last few years?

One red flag: a lawyer who promises a settlement amount at the first meeting. No one can honestly value a case before the medical picture and the insurance limits are known.

For commercial vehicle cases specifically, see our statewide list of Texas firms for commercial auto and trucking cases, and our guide to who can be held responsible for an 18-wheeler accident in Texas.

In Summary

The best Texas injury firm for you is one that can show its record and tell you, in writing, who will handle your case. All five firms above publish both.

For an injured person in Dallas or North Texas, Fielding Law is our first recommendation, because its managing partners say they personally handle every case and it serves clients fully in English and Spanish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Texas personal injury law firms are known for strong results and personal attention?

Our first pick is Fielding Law in North Texas, followed by Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner in Houston, Lorenz & Lorenz in Austin and Waco, Carabin Shaw in San Antonio, and Patterson Law Group in Fort Worth.

How much does a personal injury lawyer cost in Texas?

All five firms advertise contingency fees, so you pay nothing up front and the fee comes out of any recovery. Texas law requires that agreement to be in writing and signed, so ask for the percentage and the cost terms on paper.

Does a bigger firm get better results?

Not necessarily. Size can mean more resources for experts and trials, but it can also mean less contact with a lawyer. Ask who will work on your file and how often you will hear from them.

How long do I have to file an injury lawsuit in Texas?

Generally two years from the injury under section 16.003, or two years from the death in a wrongful death case. Claims against government entities can require notice much sooner, so speak with a lawyer early.
